Marieclaire Overton kunde vässa sitt doktorandprojekt om demenssjukdomar genom att bli en del av den nationella forskarskolan SWEAH. Erfarenheten har hon stor nytta av i sin fortsatta forskning inom åldrande och hälsa. Men framtiden för forskarskolan är osäker.

Den nationella forskarskolan SWEAH som samordnas av Lunds universitet ger stöd åt doktorander som utvecklar kunskap inom åldrande och hälsa. Den 7 oktober håller SWEAH ett digitalt frukostmöte där några doktorander och postdoktorer presenterar sin forskning. Hittills har 17 doktorander knutna till centrets forskarskola disputerat. CASE består av forskare och forskargrupper från universitetets medicinska, samhällsvetenskapliga och tekniska fakultet. Ledningen för Nationella forskarskolan om åldrande och hälsa (SWEAH) är samlokaliserad med CASE i Health Sciences Centre (HSC) i Lund.
