ABSTRACT. The roche moutonnée associated with glacial rocks of the Itararé Subgroup, near Salto, central-eastern State of São Paulo, is the only example of this kind of glacial abrasion feature known in the late Paleozoic of the Paraná Basin.Though only partially preserved, the structure still displays the characteristic shape and glacial abrasion features typical of Recent and Pleistocene
